The All India Forward Block has released its election Manifesto for the state assembly election at a function held at Manipur Press Club today.
In the manifesto the party promises to make possible of adequate supply of food and drinking water; ensures employment opportunities by building up self employment prospects and enhance trade with supply of capital sources; provide opportunities of free diagnosis and medical aids; improve education system; to make the unemployed people receive unemployment allowance; fight against corruption; and removal of the Armed Forces (special powers) Act were among the 20 list of promises made ahead of the forthcoming election to be held in March in two phases.
The forward block party is fielding three candidates for the election one of whom was announced yesterday. He was Kh. Gyaneshwar contesting from Keishamthong assembly constituency.
The remaining two candidates who are yet to be announced are said to contest from Bishnupur and Khetrigao constituency.
