The Angami Youth Organisation has imposed bandh against the treacherous and despicable behaviour of the Nagaland government and its diabolical plan to fool Nagas with divide and rule policy.
In a statement released today the youth organisation stated that it has found the government administration intolerable which intended to call again bandh in Kohima and Dimapur town along with the rest of the state tomorrow.
Dimapur Chakhroma Youth Organisation has been entrusted to co-ordinate with Dimapur Naga Youth Front and to make effective arrangement to ensure the success of the bandh in totality added the statement released by its General Keikhrie PFukha.
Keeping in mind the interest of the public residing in Angami areas of Kohima, the public are advised not to panic of the strike that would start from 8 am till 3 pm said the statement.
The statement said all government offices will not be allowed to function, no government registered vehicles will be allowed to ply, legislatures including chief minister and officials of any political parties will not be allowed to appear in public or traverse and the Nagaland armed police including the Indian Reserve Battalion will not be allowed to move about during the strike.
Any damage or lost of government property will be the responsibility of the defaulters, added the statement.
It said business activities, trade and commerce, shops, educational institutions, hospitals, public and vehicles movements will not be affected. District administration, Raj Bhavan Police headquarters and police stations, Power department and Para military force are exempted from the prohibition.
